Art Residencies

Come spend time at our residency in the beautiful village of Alvados in the Serra de Aire e Candeeiros national park. You will be surrounded by nature, and have a stunning studio to work in.

Live in an off-grid cabin on the East Coast of the UK surrounded by water and nature. We ask artists to work in pairs, and to focus on an environmental theme. The cabin is made available free of charge for two weeks. The work created will be exhibited at Slash Arts at a show of residency outputs. 

This is a two week artist exchange between Beijing and London during concurrent festivals by Slash Arts/Canal Dream and Aryana Theatre Festivals. The artists are fully integrated into the art programme on both sides, surrounded by artists from the home country, and are able to participate in the displays.  

A two week residency in which two artists collaborate with residents of the hospital to co-create art with the aim of destigmatising and displaying the work of the mentally ill.
